Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at the Bath Hotel was a refreshing experience amidst the scenic charm of Lynmouth. Nestled in a quaint street, the hotel provided easy access to both the cliff railway and the renowned watersmeet walk, making it an ideal base for hiking enthusiasts like myself. Upon arrival, I appreciated the thoughtful touch of available beverages and extra towels. Despite some uncertainties about the bed size, my twin room afforded a serene sea view that was quite soothing. The shared lounge was a welcome retreat, especially after a day outdoors. While navigating parking in this beautiful town can be a challenge during peak season, the hotel's provided car park pass eased my worries considerably. The spa services were notable, adding an extra layer of relaxation. Dining at the adjacent Ancient Mariner offered a delightful mix of local flavours, rounding off my stay with a comforting sense of home away from home. The Bath Hotel presents a serene spot for those seeking tranquility and reflection.
